Problem Statement

Let ABAB be diameter of a circle ω\omega and let CC be a point on ω\omega, different from AA and BB. The perpendicular from CC intersects ABAB at DD and ω\omega at E(C)E(\neq C). The circle with centre at CC and radius CDCD intersects ω\omega at PP and QQ. If the perimeter of the triangle PEQPEQ is 2424, find the length of the side PQPQ
