Problem Statement

Let xx and yy be two integers not equal to 00 such that x+yx+y is a divisor of x2+y2x^2+y^2. And let x2+y2x+y\frac{x^2+y^2}{x+y} be a divisor of 19781978. Prove that x=yx = y.
