Problem Statement

A function f(x) f(x) is periodic if there is a positive number p p such that f(x\plus{}p) \equal{} f(x) for all x x. For example, sinx \sin x is periodic with period 2π 2 \pi. Is the function sin(x2) \sin(x^2) periodic? Prove your assertion.
