Problem Statement

Find all the real numbers xx such that 1[x]+1[2x]={x}+13\frac{1}{[x]}+\frac{1}{[2x]}=\{x\}+\frac{1}{3} where [x][x] denotes the integer part of xx and {x}=x[x]\{x\}=x-[x]. For example, [2.5]=2,{2.5}=0.5[2.5]=2, \{2.5\} = 0.5 and [1.7]=2,{1.7}=0.3[-1.7]= -2, \{-1.7\} = 0.3
