Problem Statement

Arpon chooses a positive real number kk. For each positive integer nn, he places a marker at the point (n,nk)(n,nk) in the (x,y)(x,y) plane. Suppose that two markers whose xx-coordinates differ by 44 have distance 3131. What is the distance between the markers (7,7k)(7,7k) and (19,19k)(19,19k)?
