Problem Statement

In the coordinate plane, a point AA is chosen on the line y=32xy =\frac32 x in the first quadrant. Two perpendicular lines 1\ell_1 and 2\ell_2 intersect at A where 1\ell_1 has slope m>1m > 1. Let 1\ell_1 intersect the x x-axis at BB, and 2\ell_2 intersects the x x and yy axes at CC and DD, respectively. Suppose that line BDBD has slope m-m and BD=2BD = 2. Compute the length of CDCD.
