Problem Statement

Given the function f(x)=x2f(x) = x^2, the sector of ff from aa to bb is defined as the limited region between the graph of y=f(x)y = f(x) and the straight line segment that joins the points (a,f(a))(a, f(a)) and (b,f(b))(b, f(b)). Define the increasing sequence x0x_0, x1,x_1, \cdots with x0=0x_0 = 0 and x1=1x_1 = 1, such that the area of the sector of ff from xnx_n to xn+1x_{n+1} is constant for n0n \geq 0. Determine the value of xnx_n in function of nn.
