Problem Statement

Given two points P, QP,\ Q on the parabola C:y=x2x2C: y=x^2-x-2 in the xyxy plane. Note that the xx coodinate of PP is less than that of QQ.
(a) If the origin OO is the midpoint of the lines egment PQPQ, then find the equation of the line PQPQ.
(b) If the origin OO divides internally the line segment PQPQ by 2:1, then find the equation of PQPQ.
(c) If the origin OO divides internally the line segment PQPQ by 2:1, find the area of the figure bounded by the parabola CC and the line PQPQ.
